Seit Juli 2018 hat die Herzog Tagesbar im Erdgeschoss des Oberpollinger geöffnet. Integriert in die Verkaufsfläche des traditionsreichen Schweizer Uhren- & Schmuckhauses Bucherer, lädt die Bar zum Verweilen ein. Die hochwertig gestaltete Tagesbar bietet den Kaffee für zwischendurch genauso wie das Glas Champagner nach einer erfolgreichen Shoppingtour. Ob einen frisch gepressten Saft aus dem Slow Juicer oder eine erfrischende Weinschorle, hier ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Für die kleine Stärkung zwischendurch gibt es eine Auswahl an Macarons. Wem diese kleinen Köstlichkeiten nicht reichen, der kann direkt an der Tagesbar einen Tisch im 20 Meter entfernten Herzog Restaurant reservieren.

In contrast to the gentleman before (who clearly shows in his profile how dissatisfied he is with his life) I had a completely different encounter in the Herzog Tagesbar. The bartender was especially friendly and I wish many other bartenders would treat the guests as nicely as he did. The cappuccino was delicious and my fresh squeezed juice too. Happy again and again!

Totally unqualified staff. The day bar itself in Oberpollinger luxury area in the EC a great idea. But how can one put such an unqualified person (the little fat man with the black hair) behind the counter. In addition, this outrageous guy basically uses every guest at the bar. Does she still have them all? Hot Espresso Macchiato succeeded in the third attempt, because he always used cold milk. The glasses are dried with the colored cleaning cloth, while the glass-cloth is hung on the front of the sink; When a guest with his three companions asked how old the macarons were in the showcase, because he thought that these were not only for viewing but also for consumption, this unqualified Tagesbar employee also answered that they were stocked a week ago has been. He was so stupid and did not check the customer's question. I seriously wonder if Herzog does not find a better-qualified employee who is suited to the luxury clientele and champagne ambience? On the 4th and 2nd floor at the bars is very friendly and courteous staff. With the guy at the Herzog-Tagesbar you have the feeling that sometimes he can not follow you and his friendliness is only set up anyway. I wonder when Oberpollinger finally intervenes and removes this person, if he is not even with security employees at the customer exit when smoking. Sorry but for 12,50 Euro 0,1l champagne I expect at least a luxury quality in the employee in appearance, service and intelligence. That does not bring anything with him. Maybe you could get some advice at the Veuve Clicquot Champagne booth in Kadewe Berlin. Everything extra there.
